Adeline Bonvalet is a Senior Research Engineer (Ingénieure de Recherche Hors Classe) at CNRS, specializing in optics and photonics. A graduate of the École Supérieure d’Optique (1994) and Ph.D. holder from the Laboratoire d’Optique Appliquée (1997), she worked at Thales-Laser before joining CNRS in 2002.

She is currently based at the Laboratoire d’Optique et Biosciences (LOB) at École Polytechnique, where she also serves as communication correspondent for CNRS and INSERM. Actively involved in the optics community, she is Co-president of the SFO’s Horizons de l’Optique club, editorial board member of Photoniques, and a member of the LOB’s laboratory council.
