He is a professor at ENSTA and a member of the Optimization and Control team within the Applied Mathematics Unit (UMA), which he currently leads.

His research is in the field of nonlinear control theory, with a particular focus on geometric control. It covers both theoretical aspects, such as sub-Riemannian geometry, nonholonomic systems, and the geometric approach to optimal control, as well as applications, especially in the modeling of neurophysiological processes.
