Civil engineer and doctor, François Goulette is currently an assistant professor at MINES ParisTech, where he teaches automatic image processing. He also conducts research at the Robotics Center on the acquisition and processing of three-dimensional images for various types of applications (environment modeling, medical robotics, etc.).

His research work led him to spend 16 months as a researcher at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He also worked for several months as a research engineer in the Research and Development Department at EDF.
