Research director and professor at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC), at the Cired laboratory (International Center for Research on the Environment and Development).

Engineer and ecologist by training, qualified to conduct research in sociology (2009).

Former deputy director of LATTS (2011-2013), former president of the Humanities and Social Sciences department at ENPC (2012-2015).

Research interests

His research focuses on the mechanisms of economic development in cities and territories. This theme has led him to focus on the organization of businesses (HDR thesis in 2009), and then, more recently, to work on the organization of local public action, in relation to the imperative of ecological transition.  

Interest in data and statistics, both as a resource and tool in sociological surveys, but also in the life of organizations and collective action.
