Joël Ruet, ingénieur civil des mines de Paris and Doctor in Industrial Economics from the Ecole des mines, is a CNRS Researcher at the Centre de Recherche en Gestion - Institut Interdiscinplinaire de l'Innovation and Senior Advisor to the Technology for Change Chair - Institut Polytechnique. A former Marie-Curie fellow at the London School of Economics and visiting fellow at Tsinghua University (Beijing), laureate of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Columbia University (New York) & the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (Paris), he has taught or supervised master's students. s and doctoral students at Ecole des Mines, HEC-Paris, Jawaharlal Nehru Universities of New Delhi and Rennes-II, Centre d'économie de Paris-Nord, Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and directed the Centre de Sciences Humaines (Ministry of Foreign Affairs-CNRS) in New Delhi. He has written or (co)-edited 8 books, including "Des Capitalismes non-alignés" (éditions Raisons d'Agir), nominated for the Prix des lycéens Le Monde-Bercy-Fimalac.
