Loïc Landrieu is an Ingénieur en Chef des Eaux et Forêts (IPEF 2011) and a researcher specializing in machine learning applied to geospatial applications. After a theory-focused PhD at INRIA and a researcher position at the Geographic Information Science and Technology Laboratory (LaSTIG, Institut Géographique National/ENSG-Géomatique/Université Gustave Eiffel), he joined in 2023 the IMAGINE team at the Gaspard-Monge Computer Science Laboratory (LIGM, CNRS/Université Gustave Eiffel/École nationale des ponts et chaussées). Loïc is a multidisciplinary researcher, and is actively involved in the computer vision, machine learning, remote sensing, environmental sciences and Earth observation communities. He is an advocate of open science and has contributed to numerous open-source code repositories and databases.
