Laura Draetta is a lecturer in sociology at Ecole Télécom Paris, a researcher at the Institut Interdisciplinaire de l'Innovation (i3, a CNRS joint research unit), and co-holder of the RD-ID Chair (Responsibility for Digital Identity). Laura is also a research associate of the C2M Chair (Characterization, Modeling and Control of Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Waves). Her research and teaching focus on the interactions between Technology, the Environment and the Public, and benefit from her interdisciplinary background in sociology, political science and environmental science. Laura was a visiting scientist at the Center for Science, Technology, Medicine and Society (CSTMS) at the University of California Berkeley in 2015 and 2019. Since January 2020, she has been a research fellow at the same laboratory. Laura is an ethics expert with the European Commission and a social science expert with ANSES (Agence Nationale de Sécurité Sanitaire) - Physical Agents Risk Assessment Unit.
