Nicolas Coulombel, engineer with the Corps des Ponts, Eaux et Forêts (French civil engineering corps), and doctor of urban economics (2010), is a lecturer at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (French national civil engineering school) and a researcher at the Laboratoire Ville Mobilité Transport (LVMT) at the University of Paris Est. He is currently scientific director of the environmental research lab. His main research focuses on the links between cities and transportation, combining economic approaches and digital models.
