Abstract

In this paper a technique of a 2D location measurement for remotely active reflector units (Tags), in terms of radial distance and azimuth angle, is presented. It is based on Interferometry and FMCW multistatic radar system operating in the European UWB frequency bandwidth. The simulation and experimental results are compared for its validation. This new technique offers a wide range of application in robotics, industrial automation and medical domain.
