35 kW subpicosecond pulse generation at 1.55 μm using Er3+/Yb3+ fiber amplifier

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

Amplification of ultrashort pulse at 1.55μm to high peak power levels in a chirped pulse amplification (CPA) without temporal and spectral distortion was demonstrated. The architecture of the ultra short pulse CPA amplifier optimized to develop a numerical model. The well-known nonlinear Schroedinger equation with gain was solved to carry out the simulations.
