Abstract

In this paper a technique of 3D location measurement for a remote active-Tag, in terms of radial distance, azimuthangle and elevation-angle, is presented. It is based on interferometry and FMCW multistatic radar system operating in the European UWB frequency bandwidth. The measurements have been performed in a real indoor environment for a line-of-sight case with respect to a single known reference position. This new technique offers a wide range of application in robotics, industrial automation and medical domain.
