Abstract
An advanced three-dimensional P.W.R. steam generator design code name 'GENEPI' was developed. Salient features of the GENEPI code are: (a) the use of an object oriented language which allows the combination without limit of any kind of physical modelling, number of equations, type of algorithms, internal device representation and computational mesh; (b) the finite element method for space discretization which allows a general shape representation with cartesian coordinates; and (c) geometric meshes of internal structures such as tube bundle, distribution baffle, tube support plates, anti-vibrating bars and separator deck.
