N2 - ICLs are promising mid-infrared semiconductor lasers that could address many applications. However, current knowledge about their intrinsic properties is scarce. Here, we demonstrate a clear relaxation process when studying the noise properties of an ICL, which contributes to the fundamental characterization of this semiconductor structure.
