Analytical study of printed dipoles with closed-form impedance formulas

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Printed dipoles are studied analytically and simple closed-form formulas for the real and imaginary impedances are presented. The formulas explain the printed-dipole impedance as a function of the substrate thickness and permitivity. The analytical results show good agreement with the numerical and experimental ones.
