Abstract

The magnetization measurements on quality single crystals of MgB 2 were presented. The temperature dependence of the upper and lower critical fields was deduced from these measurements along the two main crystallographic directions. MgB2 was described by a single field dependent anisotropy parameter. The results show that γHc1 and γHc2 not only differ in absolute value at low temperature but also have opposite temperature dependencies in MgB2.
