Autler-Townes splitting in a hybridized Helmholtz resonator

Abstract

We study acoustic wave propagation in a narrow 2D waveguide containing a subwavelength scatterer. We derive effective one-dimensional models which encode the effect of the scatterer in effective jump conditions [1]; we envision the successive cases where the scatterer is a plain rigid obstacle, a resonator of the Helmholtz type and eventually a split resonator as shown in Figure 1.
