Abstract

A fully blind algorithm was proposed to estimate the multipath parameters of a specular transmmission channel. The proposed algorithm was compared with the pulse knowledge based parametric subspace method assuming a raised-cosine with roll-off factor 0.25. A number of Monte Carlo simulations were performed to investigate the performance of the proposed algorithm as a function the bandwidth of the pulse shape filter. The results showed that the estimation is achieved without a training sequence, prior knowledge of the pulse shape filter and array calibration information.
