N2 - The present paper paves the way toward the automatic tracking of the live camcorder (in theater, on a TV/advertising screen) video sequences. In this respect, a video fingerprinting method based on the intimate statistical model of the DWT coefficients and on a dynamic resynchronization between original and camcorded frames is advanced. Evaluated in partnership with the French cinematography authority, this method resulted in probabilities of missed detection and false alarm of 0.00009 and 0.0036, respectively while its precision and recall ratios are of 0.72.
