Characterization of frp-to-concrete bonded interface: Description of the single lap shear test

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The single lap shear test is an experimental method available for the characterization of FRP-to-concrete bonded interfaces. The obtained experimental results are required for the determination of parameters used in the design of concrete structures reinforcement or repairing by bonding composite materials. The aim of this article is to precisely describe the test procedure and experimental scatter. The test procedure has since been adopted for several investigations revealing its suitability and robustness for many different reinforcement processes.
