Abstract

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is still a developing technology with different aspects. It takes attention of many researchers because of its tremendous resources for internet and users. To be able to manage these resources, multiple protocols and algorithms are developed. Energy efficiency is one of the most important research areas of WSNs in the literature. For this reason, LEACH protocol and its improved versions are presented for energy efficiency area. We have chosen most remarkable two of them which are LEACH-mobile and multihop-LEACH, then compared according to their energy usage and packet transmission rates with the localization process.
