Deep inelastic electron scattering in the distorted-wave Born approximation: An analytic approach

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

An analytic distorted-wave Born approximation approach to Coulomb distortion effects up to (Z)2 terms in inclusive and exclusive quasifree scattering is proposed. Applications to Ca40 and Pb208 are discussed and a new longitudinal-transverse separation procedure is investigated. The positron cross section is studied in Pb208.
