Abstract

The PEPITES1 project aims at realizing an operational prototype of an ultra-thin, radiation-resistant profiler able to permanently operate on mid-energy (O (100 MeV)) charged particle accelerators. Initially motivated by the needs of protontherapy, the proposed development may have a range of applications that is well beyond the foreseen framework.
