N2 - Enantiomerically pure diphosphines play an important role in various homogeneous metalcatalyzed asymmetric reactions. Over the last few years, our group has been involved in the design and synthesis of atropisomeric ligands named SYNPHOS and DIFLUORPHOS with complementary stereoelectronic properties. This paper shows the high catalytic performances of DIFLUORPHOS, SYNPHOS and SYNPHOS analogues for some C-H and C-C bond forming processes as well as for the synthesis of biorelevant targets.
