Distortionless analog photonic link employing optical phase sensitive amplification

Abstract

The linearity of an analog photonic link employing phase sensitive optical parametric amplification is demonstrated by performing third order intermodulation distortion products measurements using two RF tones. Amplification without any distortion increase is obtained.
