Abstract
In this paper the extinction process is studied computationally. The governing conservation equations are modelled with complex transport and detailed kinetics. By employing adaptive boundary value solution methods with numerical bifurcation techniques, the authors generate detailed extinction curves for hydrogen-air flames in a counterflow geometry.
