Abstract
We study in this paper the propagation of elastic surface waves guided by an infinitely long crack. We investigate this problem by means of a boundary integral formulation. We state some new theoretical results (existence and other properties) and present a numerical method, as well as various numerical results, for the particular case of the plane crack.
