Abstract

In order to model the electromagnetic behaviour of ferromagnetic materials, we consider Maxwell's equations together with a non-linear vectorial differential equation called Landau - Lifschitz - Gilbert's law. Using the theory of semi-linear equations, we show that the associated Cauchy problem admits a unique global weak solution in the monodimensional case.
