Abstract
The electron spectra generated by Self-Modulated Laser Wake Field (SMWLF) instability in the ultra-relativistic regime a0>1 was reported. Results show an increase in maximum electron energy when the electron density is decreased indicating acceleration both by relativistic plasma waves and the laser field. A maximum electron spectra was observed at an energy of 70 MeV and electron beam charge greater than 5nC in the range of parameters.
