Abstract

In this paper we focus on the study of the performances of some real-time queues, that is, where the customers have temporal constraints to be serviced. The aim of our work is here to estimate some performances in the non-preemptive EDF-D case. We first deal with the problem of stability for this queue, to insure the reach of a steady state. Then, we expose some results for the estimation of the loss probability of the queue, including a work on the FIFO queue with impatient customers.
