Abstract

UAV are increasingly used for multiple missions from inspection to surveillance and agricultural applications. Although several successful reports of UAV applications have been clearly established the potential of these on low-cost UAV line of products is not documented. To completely popularized UAV low-cost line of products based services have to be characterized. In this paper we are particularly interested in solving a general UAV service problem under resource and time constraint using low-cost UAV line of products. One salient issue is power estimation of UAV and the number of UAV to compensate the power limitation of individual UAV. We report our results using empirical experimentations in the case of civil engineering inspection.
