Abstract
We study how a low density electron gas can modify the polariton relaxation in a microcavity in the strong coupling regime. An optical injection allows us to tune the electron density below 1010 cm-2. In the presence of electrons, we observe a partial collapse of the relaxation bottleneck usually observed under non-resonant excitation. We compare the relative efficiency of the electron-polariton scattering and polariton-polariton scattering.
