Abstract

The goal of this paper is to assess the performance of a Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) system for lung nodule detection in MDCT examinations of the chest (ImageChecker CT™, R2 Technology), using an objective reference database of computer-generated nodules that mimic the range of nodule characteristics typically found in the chest.
