Abstract

A method is proposed based on a more complex constitutive behavior: elastic-plastic with non linear kinematic hardening. It is well known that this kind of behavior is suitable to model ratcheting. The calculation of the cumulative plastic strain is performed using either a finite element method or a semi-analytic procedure. For the fatigue calculation, the Brown-Miller and Coffin models are used.
