Abstract

The evaluation of handover time in different network technologies was presented. Vertical handover is a technique that allows a mobile user to roam between multiple networks in a manner that is completely transparent. When moving out of range, the system automatically switches to another base station without getting disconnected. If more than one interface is available, the system decides which one to use.
