Abstract

A centralized impairment-aware lightpath restoration scheme is experimentally demonstrated. Through the implementation of the QoT estimator module on FPGA technology, restoration times of 1.36s are achieved for the high priority traffic class. OSA/OFC/NFOEC 2011.
