Experimental investigation of the coupling of an optical phonon mode to individual bloch states in photoexcited bismuth

Abstract

The effect of lattice distortions on electronic states in Bismuth is investigated using time resolved photoemission spectroscopy. The data reveals a strong dependence of the electron phonon coupling with the Bloch state wave vectors.
