Abstract

This paper1 presents a novel method to estimate displacement by Maximum Likelihood (ML) texture tracking in PolSAR images. The observed Polarimetric SAR (PoISAR) data-set is composed by two terms: a scalar texture parameter and a speckle component. The ML estimator of the texture is estimated using the Spherically Invariant Random Vectors (SIRV) processes. The proposed method is tested with both simulated PolSAR data and spacebome PolSAR images provided by the TerraSAR-X (TSX) satellite.
