Abstract
This work will present a first time implementation of the frame-based Gaussian Beam-Shooting (GBS) method to compute the monostatic scattering cross section (SCS) of semi-transparent cavities. The cavities will consist of rectangular parallelepipeds with thin walls, and the impedance sheet model will be used to represent the reflecting and transmitting properties of the walls. Numerical results will be presented and discussed, regarding the accuracy and the computational efficiency of the method.
