Abstract

This paper presents an original approach to deal with multimedia data integration in the context of Gastroenterology Patient Record (GPR), applying MPEG-4 scene composition fundamentals. Our work focuses on scene composition as a tool to improve patient record consultation, through multimedia data integration. A general patient record consultation system is presented along with its practical implementation. Perspectives and proposed adjustments are also discussed.
