Abstract

We report the generation of high-fidelity few-cycle pulses by nonlinear ellipse rotation in a hollow-fiber compressor. The use of flexible hollow-fiber technology and a pressure gradient enables simultaneous temporal filtering and spectral broadening with record-high efficiency.
