Abstract

A mechanical model for the microstructure of non-saturated porous media is constructed by means of the method of virtual work. An extension of Hill's theorem is obtained within the framework of 3D-2D mixed modelling. This result is applied to determining the macroscopic yield criterion of such media through a homogenization approach. -English summary
