Influence of facet phases on adiabatic chirp behavior of index-coupled distributed-feedback lasers

Abstract

The adiabatic chirp for antireflection/high-reflection DFB laser is mostly dependent on high-reflection facet phase independently of the antireflection quality while very low reflectivity allows chirp predicting from the laser emission spectrum.
