Abstract

This paper presents on-line secure element technology that provides secure data storage and trusted computing environment for internet applications. Hosted resources are identified by Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs); end-to-end security is ensured by a TLS server embedded in the secure element (TLS-SE), identified by a name the Secure Element Name SEN). We present front TLS Servers based on grid of secure elements running TLS end servers that are dedicated to data centers, and tiny servers made with System on Chip (SoC) board and TLS secure element. Tiny servers have low power consumption and can be fed by solar energy.
