Abstract
Storm water management faces more and more diverse challenges. In this context, the flood prevention is a part of broader objectives such as enhancement of water in the city. Potentially, this new vision overcomes the risk related to danger and ultimately better manage critical situations. Unfortunately this potential remains theoretical. The objective of the article is to highlight signs of progress but also barriers to change.
