Abstract

The performance of the CMS PbWO₄ electromagnetic calorimeter is discussed. Inter-calibration and electron energy measurements are presented based on data collected from 2004 to 2006 with an electron beam and with cosmic muons, using fully equipped supermodules of the CMS detector barrel.
