Abstract

A study for long fibre microbuckling instability in thermosetting resins is presented. The originality stays in the use of a 3D coupling model for the curing of the resin. Fibre waviness observed during the curing was predicted by the model and, by the way, provides a first validation for internal stress prediction in thermosetting matrices.
