Abstract

In this article, we wonder about the exit of the competition between two secured protocols of payments by card conceived, on the one hand, by the banks and, on the other hand, by the network operators. We show that the non-banking secured protocol takes the lead in the market of the secured payments by card on Internet. We conclude to the loss of the banking control on the payment procedures by card on Internet to the benefits of the network operators.
