Abstract

The Lu-Fano plot was studied for interpretation of the photoassociation spectra. The Lu-Fano method was used on data for the Cs₂ O_u⁺ (6S+6P_{1/2, 3/2}) photoassociation below the 6S+P_1/2 and 6S+P_3/2 dissociation limits. The fine structures transition cross section between the two channels were determined by extrapolating above the 6S+P_3/2 threshold.
