Abstract

The normal and superconducting properties of heavy fermion compounds are reviewed. The discussion is focus on the three uranium compounds : UBe13, UPt3 and URu2Si2. Special attention is given : 1) to unusual (H.T) superconducting phase diagram as discovered in UPt3 where two successive superconducting phases seem to occur in zero magnetic field ; 2) to the role of long range ordering as found in URu2Si2 and UPt3.
