Abstract

We present recent measurements of the CP violating angle γ/ φ3 (γ notation will be used) performed by the BABAR and BELLE collaborations. Measurements with B±→D (*)0K(*)± decays of charged B mesons exploit the Gronau-London-Wyler (GLW), Atwood-Dunietz-Soni (ADS) and Giri-Grossman-Soffer-Zupan (GGSZ) methods. The GGSZ method provides the strongest constrain; BABAR, using 227×106 BB̄ pairs, reports γ = 67° ± 28°(stat.) ± 13°(syst.) ± 11°(Dalitz model) and BELLE measures, with 386×106 BB̄ pairs, γ=53°-18+15°(stat.) ±3°(syst.)±9°(Dalitzmodel). Measurements with neutral B decays are based on time-dependent analyses of B0→D (*)-π+, D-ρ+ decays. BABAR obtains sin(2β+γ)>0.64(0.40) at 68(90) CL using 232×106 BB̄ pairs and BELLE, with 386×106 BB̄ pairs, reports sin(2β+γ)>0.44(0.13) at 68(95) CL for D*π and sin(2β+γ)>0.52(0.07) at 68(95) CL for Dπ. Searches for other decay modes useful for the γ measurement are reported. BABAR observes the allowed B̄0 → D 0*0 decay, but not the suppressed B̄0 → D̄0*0 one. This translates to the limit on the ratio of the suppressed to allowed amplitudes rB < 0.4 @ 90 CL.
